Release Time:2017-2-28 11:40:18

Adhesives - Test Method for peel strength of 180 degrees - flexible materials for rigid materials Adhesives, assembly 180 peel strength test methodspecimen
GB / T 2790 - 1995
Instead of GB 2790 - 81, the State Bureau of Technical Supervision approved the implementation of the 1996 - 08 - 01 between 1995 - 12
This standard is equivalent to ISO 8510 - 2:1990 - "adhesive - flexible materials and rigid materials bonded to the adhesive specimens of the peel test of the following second parts: 180 degrees off".
1 subject matter and scope of application
This standard specifies the 180 degree peel test of adhesive bonded specimens of flexible materials and rigid materials, sample preparation, test procedures and results.
This standard is suitable for the determination of two kinds of adhesive material (one is a flexible material, the other is a rigid material) composed of adhesive samples under the conditions, the adhesive resistance to 180 degree peel performance.
2 reference standard
Standard environment for conditioning and testing of GB 2918 Plastic Specimens
3 principle
Two blocks were prepared by adhesive bonding specimen with sticky material, then the opening from the peel adhesive rate to define adhesive specimens, two pieces of adherend along the length direction of the gradual separation of the sticky surface. The peeling force exerted by the flexible adhesive is substantially parallel to the adhesive surface. 4 device
4.1 tensile test device
With proper load range, chuck to the rate constant and separation device applying the tensile force, the device should be measurement system and record system is equipped with powerful. The indication error of force is not more than 2%. The response time of the whole device should be short enough so as not to affect the accuracy of the measurement, that is, when the bonded specimen is destroyed, the applied force can be measured to. The failure load of the specimen should be between 10% and 80% of the full load.
Chuck 4.2
One of the chuck can firmly grip the stiff adherend (see 5.1.1), and the adhesive surface parallel to the applied force. Another chuck is shown in Figure 1, can fix the flexible adherend (see 5.1.2), the chuck is self calibration type, so the force applied parallel to the bonding surface, and tensile test device and the sensor (4.1).
5 sample
5.1 adhesive material
The thickness of the material to be adhered to be able to withstand the expected tensile force residence. Its size should be accurately measured and recorded in the test report.
Note: the thickness of the adhesive sheet is determined by the supply and demand side of the adhesive, and the thickness of the recommended test piece is: metal 1.5mm; plastic 1.5mm; wood 3mm; vulcanized rubber 2mm. Is the thickness and type of flexible adhesive test plate impact to the test results must be recorded when large, glued specimen thickness greater than 1 mm, the thickness measurement accuracy to 0.1mm; when the glued specimen thickness less than 1 mm, the thickness measurement accuracy to 0.001mm.
5.1.1 rigid adhesive test piece
The rigidity of the adhesive sheet width is 25.0mm + 0.5mm, unless otherwise specified 1], length of more than 200mm strip.
5.1.2 flexible adhesive test piece
The flexible adhesive material can be bent at 180 DEG without any serious deformation. Unless otherwise specified, the length of the flexible adhesive test piece shall not be less than 350 mm. Its width is:
The A. edge does not wear material with the same width as the rigid adhesive specimen;
B. edge easy to wear materials, such as cotton canvas, both sides of the test specimen is more than the rigidity of the adhesive sheet width 5mm.
Note: it may be difficult to produce the flexible adhesive test piece, and the deviation of the test result is increased due to the deflection of the specimen and the damage during the test. It is possible to reduce the effect of the design of the flexible adhesive specimen to the width of the 5mm on each side of the specimen.
5.2 specimen preparation
The surface treatment of the sample 2] and the adhesive using the adhesive product specification. The entire width in each specimen glued on the glue, glue length is 150mm.
Use description:
1] international standard "unless otherwise specified".
2] international standard for surface treatment according to ISO 4588 - 89 "adhesive - adhesive metal surface treatment", if not, according to the product specification. Because there is no corresponding standard with ISO 4588, this is only in accordance with the requirements of adhesive products. Glue the adhesive test piece together with the method recommended by the adhesive manufacturer, and solidify the adhesive.
If the sample is pressurized, uniform pressure should be applied on the entire bonding surface, and the recommended pressure can be up to 1 MPa. Equipped with timing pressure relief device. In order to obtain uniform pressure distribution on the whole bonding surface, the press plate should be parallel. If you can not do, it should be in the press plate covering an elastic gasket, the thickness of the gasket is about 10mm, hardness (A) about 45 degrees, it is recommended to apply pressure up to 0.7MPa.
Another method of sample preparation is to glue the two pieces of the appropriate size of the board into an enlarged specimen, and then cut the sample from the expanded specimen. Cutting should be as far as possible to reduce the influence of cutting heat and mechanical force on the glue joint. It is necessary to remove the outer section of the 12mm strip which is parallel to the long side of the specimen. Determination of average thickness of adhesive layer.
5.3 number of samples
The number of samples per batch shall not be less than five. 6 state regulation and test environment
The sample shall be subjected to state adjustment and testing in the standard environment specified in GB 2918. The sample shall be adjusted for a state of not less than 2 h1]. 7 test procedure
The flexible glued specimens without end adhesive bending 180 degrees, the rigid glued specimen clamping in the fixed chuck, and the flexible test piece in a clamping chuck. Note that the chuck between sample and accurate positioning, to ensure that the applied force is evenly distributed in the sample width (see Figure 1). Start the machine, the upper and lower chuck at a rate constant separation.
The separation rate of chuck was 100 + 10m
